Hippity Hoppity Weekend

This Easter was extra special since we spent it with my family at my grandparent's farm in Abilene. As a child, we would stay the farm with our cousins and have egg hunts and play outside and they are special memories. Abilene has always felt like a second home and I love seeing Lincoln experience the same thing with is cousins. We made some fun memories this weekend as well.

Friday the crew headed to the Abilene zoo. This zoo is small and only takes about a couple of hours to walk through but the best part is getting to feed the giraffes.

All the cousins checking out the rhinos. (Love all the boys in plaid shorts, it's the only way to dress up a boy's attire)
Feeding the giraffes....pretty cool and gross

Lincoln had to watch his cousins go first to make sure they were not going to get eaten.

Lincoln's haul in his Easter basket

Lincoln was NOT in the picture takin' mood after church but he sure was cute!

Cousins....this is the best picture out of about 30. I am hoping getting a group picture gets easier.

We got no good family pictures with Lincoln because he was running on little sleep and hunger, so here is a decent picture of Shane and I.

Grandaddy and Nena with the grandbabies

Lincoln had a good time with the egg hunt. He took more of the slow method of getting the eggs. Lincoln has always had the attitude that he is at work so he treated it more like picking up. He was a man on a mission to clean.

It was a great weekend full of family time and laughs. I love the time our family has together and it makes me ready for our summer vacation in July!
