Batter Up!

We jumped into the world of organized sports. Lincoln started t-ball this spring. He has had 3 games so far and he gets better and better.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

My mom had a milestone birthday this year so we decided to get everyone together for a party. Since all her 3 children and add-ons were going to be together, we decided to have a family picture made since the last one does not include Lola and Abby. I think we got some good ones.

My little unit. Lola is the "smilest" baby until a stranger gets out their camera then she is all blank face. I think it's her model face.

This was an outtake from the day. It shows what actually happens with this crowd. A wasp flew by Phoebe and she FREAKED OUT (she does it so well). All the adults reacted to that and this picture was snapped. This might be my favorite!

Easter 2013

We celebrated Easter this year with a quick trip to KS. Our niece was being baptized so we made the trip out Friday and came home Sunday. It was fast but the majority of his family was there so we were able to see some family that we rarely get to see.

 

Lincoln and Lola's daycare made bunny ears for them to wear on Thursday. Lincoln will still put his on from time to time. Lola was not a fan of them from the beginning. This girl likes her bows that it is all!

 

Lincoln dyed a few eggs on Saturday morning. It was intense work for the 10 minutes that he lasted.

We opened Easter baskets on Saturday and Lincoln loved his mask and cape.

Lola got a tutu and she wore it for a bit before it got in her way.

We hunted eggs on Saturday in some pretty nice weather for KS.

Sugar and Spice Party

Lola's 1st birthday was so fun to plan. It was a sugar and spice party complete with a dessert and taco bar. It was all a hit!

 

We had a photo booth which was a nice way to get all guests in pictures.

She was not a fan of the cake. I was surprised since she a lover of all foods. I think it was more all the attention because the next night, she gobbled up a cupcake like no one's business!

It was a great party! Now on to thinking about birthday #2!
