We had a great time on Saturday for March of Dimes. Team Lincoln had 9 walkers and 2 stroller riders. We walked a total of 5 miles. The rain held off for us so the weather was pretty nice. It was very cool to walk by and read the markers of the babies who have overcome their struggles. There were many "one pound wonders" in the walk and many families formed in memory of their sweet babies. The walk made me want to hug and love on my "healthy baby" and never take anything he does normal for granted.
We raised the money we wanted to and no one passed out on the walk, so all in all it was a great walk!
We rode a shuttle bus to White Rock Lake. Lincoln was in awe of riding on the bus without a
carseat.

Casey and I with our boys. I am pretty sure if you add up the time that Lincoln slept then Wyatt slept it was the entire walk.

All of Team Lincoln....this picture was taken after the walk in the drizzle and humidity at mile 5 so please excuse hair!

Our little family. Lincoln's shirt reads "Tough Cookie" We couldn't agree more!

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, encouraged, and lifted us up during our journey. Lincoln has come a long way and we are blessed that he is where he is today!
Many thanks to those that donated and walked for March of Dimes. Your contributions will help so many babies who needed a little extra help at the beginning. You can never be thanked enough!
The back of our team shirts read "fearfully and wonderfully made...Psalms 139:14" and I couldn't agree more!
Hey there,
ReplyDeleteIt was great fun. I thought Lincoln managed his team quite well.
Love you,
